A Luxurious Costa Rica Yoga Retreat

July 20 - 26, 2024

Playa Grande, Costa Rica

Accommodations vary to fit your financial needs and privacy preferences

Nestled on the northwest coast of the Nicoya Peninsula, named one of the world’s five Blue Zones, you are sure to feel a little bit of magic seeping from the land.

Playa Grande is a once-sleepy surf town that is quickly growing into a haven for those looking to make nature and self-care a lifestyle priority.  Here people learn to live by the sun, cleanse by the sea, and embrace the “pura vida”.  The expansive beach allows self-reflection and the rich land provides nourishment not just for the body, but for the soul.

Playa Grande is home of the Las Baulas Marine National Park, a protected natural coastline and one of the few places in the world where the impressive Leatherback sea turtles still come to nest.  Just across the estuary is Tamarindo, one of Costa Rica’s hot spots for Tourism.

Join Allison and Janet for a luxurious week of self-care through beach time/walks, pool time, local food and of course, yoga, meditation and sound baths to relax and restore your body, mind and soul. Bookings will be taken through Janet at the studio. You can email : janet@shaanti.yoga to inquire or call: 425-931-6079. We are here to help answer questions and help you get a reservation. A $400 deposit will be due to reserve and hold your spot, non refundable after April 1st, 2024.

Allison is a tree hugger, food lover, traveler, and fitness teacher. She cares for each living being as a whole. She understands that every “body” wants to move freely, to move without pain, and to move in a way that can bring them back to witness their unique physical body through their own spirit.  Allison completed her mat-pilates teaching certificate while living in Dubai and traveled to Nepal to receive her 200h YTT.  Though she was born and raised in Southern California, she has spent her last two years living in a small town in Costa Rica, embracing the pura vida lifestyle, soaking in the sea, and watching sunsets.  She currently teaches pilates and yoga, as well as gymnastics for kids at a non-profit sports center in the community.
