Krista Stevenson is a 500 HR RYT. She is committed to a daily yoga practice in some form and loves to share this passion with others. She considers herself always a student, and continually seeks new knowledge and techniques to offer her students. She began yoga as a way to become physically fit, and along the way found that there is a strong, deep connection between our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. She likes to think of the practice of yoga as a union of many different things that we can first approach through asana, or physical postures. Then, as our bodies align, other aspects in our lives naturally follow. Krista also enjoys crossfit workouts, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends. A Montana native, she feels most at home in the Mountains.

"I still clearly remember what it was like to be a beginner in Yoga. I remember how some instructors had the most kind, compassionate, and patient way of teaching me everything. I also remember the teachers who did not! lol. I love teaching beginners because I am able to practice these qualities myself and provide a safe space for those coming to class. I love watching people do things they didn't think they could and seeing their confidence grow. I also love watching people be more compassionate with themselves in their practice and hearing about how that has translated into their own lives. It is the most amazing thing to watch the friendships develop and grow between fellow students and experience them myself." -Krista
